DR. TANYA CHACKO
Family Dentist
I grew up in the friendly city of Medicine Hat in Southern Alberta. After graduating from the University College Cork in Ireland, I returned to my Alberta home where I enjoy practicing dentistry.
What I love about my job is the time I get to spend with you and your families. I make sure that you understand your dental health and the treatment that suits your needs best. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy going to courses and seminars on the latest dental techniques, so I can better serve you.
My team and I are grateful to give back to the community. We collect donations and take part in local charities, for instance, Cochrane Bowl for Kids. Also, I highly value volunteering with Kindness in Action and CUPS, providing free dentistry for those in need.
Here at Fireside Dental, we are committed to serving our patients with gentle treatment and the greatest level of comfort. We have an outstanding team that is passionate about dentistry and we strive to deliver exceptional care to you and your families.
DR. DAVID HUA
Family Dentist
Born and raised in Sydney, I spent my first few years practicing dentistry in Australia, having graduated from the University of Sydney. I moved to Calgary in 2019, with a suitcase short of winter clothing but not without my passion for providing the best possible care to meet the needs of every patient. I strive to apply the best practices from my professional activities here and abroad to create a personal and comfortable experience for every visitor to Fireside Dental Clinic. Apart from practicing in clinics, I have also had the opportunity to volunteer by providing dental care to patients in Guatemala and Vanuatu. I cannot wait to join our team on their volunteer trips abroad in the near future. Outside of dentistry, I enjoy watching and playing sports; currently on my list is learning how to play hockey!
AMBER
Office Manager
I grew up in Ontario where I graduated from dental assisting school. I made my way out to Alberta in 2012 making this my home!
What I love about my job is helping make our patients feel comfortable, helping people understand the importance of oral health and answering any questions they may have. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to have started with Fireside Dental when they first opened, the community has been amazing and I feel good to be a part of it. The staff have become a family making it easy to come to work everyday.
Standing with TREC makes me feel proud to be in dental we have high values and standards we pride ourselves in. I also enjoy the volunteering opportunities and continuous learning they provide us.
When I am not at work you can find me enjoying the outdoors and traveling!
SOLE
Dental Hygienist
Raised in Toronto, Ontario. My interest in the dental field started early on. I began working in the field as an office administrator in 2006, going on to graduate from Regency Dental Hygiene Academy in 2010, where I then decided to move to Alberta to begin my career in Dental Hygiene. I love educating patients on their oral health and I strive to make every patient's dental experience a positive one!
When I'm not at work I enjoy spending time with family and friends as well as exploring Alberta by motorcycle with my husband!
LINDA
Dental Assistant
Saskatchewan born and raised, my love for the mountains brought me to Alberta! I have a love for physical fitness and am an avid crossfit lover.
I am proud to be a part of a clinic that serves the wonderful community that I now call home. Fireside Dental has given me the opportunity to provide quality care for many familiar faces while also introducing me to new members of the Cochrane area. I love the continuous educational opportunities that the dental industry provides, while allowing me to be social and active within my community.
KELLY
Dental Administrator
I graduated from the Dental Administrator Program at CDI College in 2006. I have been working in the dental field ever since. I love getting to know our patients and being part of their oral health needs. I am very blessed to be able to call Cochrane home and work at such an amazing practice.
When I am not at the practice I am on adventures with my husband, 2 kids and dog.

KRYSTYNA
Registered Dental Hygienist
Born and raised in Ukraine, I moved to Toronto when I was 12yo. I graduated from Dental Hygiene Program at APLUS Institute in 2012. I am very passionate about providing patients with best care and educating patient on the importance of oral care. My family and I moved to Cochrane in 2021 and I am grateful to be a part of such an amazing team here at Fireside Dental!
In my spare time I enjoys being active, going to the gym, yoga, hiking, skiing and spending time with my family.
MEG
Registered Dental Hygienist
I was born in Manila, Philippines & raised in Brampton, Ontario where I’ve lived for the last 28 years. I received my advanced diploma in Dental Hygiene from George Brown College in 2015 and began to work alongside my parents in our family’s dental practice for the last 7 years. While holding my parents’ teachings close to heart, I decided to begin my own journey & moved out to Alberta in 2021.
I’m excited to plant new roots and call Fireside Dental Clinic my new home & am proud to be part of such an engaging, supportive and knowledgeable team! I have a passion for providing quality healthcare to patients by ensuring detailed, comfortable treatment for those of all ages & teaching effective practices centred on individual needs.
When I’m not working, I enjoy growing my love for martial arts, particularly Brazilian jiu-jitsu & Muay Thai, building my small craft business & discovering more of Alberta with my partner!
ANDREA
Dental Administrator
Born and raised in Montreal, the mountains were calling. The common story of you come for vacation and never truly leave. I moved out west over 20 years ago in 2001 and settled in Canmore. Several years in dental administration but before that enjoyed retail ownership, tourism and transportation. Now moved our family a little further down the highway to Cochrane to pursue new adventures. I am proud to have found my new dental family at Fireside and look forward to meeting everyone in the community.
When not at work you can find me on adventures with my husband, two daughters and crazy cats.
